Sunshine Coast Branch will host a Youth Development Forum on Monday 2nd September, 2019. The forum will be held at Sunshine Coast Branch, LOT 695 Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba starting at 6:00pm.

The forum will cover a range topics including:

 Youth membership trends

 Youth Development Programs and events for the coming season

 Transitioning juniors to the senior club

 Child and Youth Risk Management

 The role of Youth Development Officers.

A large part of the forum will focus on clubs sharing successful initiatives and networking with each other.

While it is recommended that Youth Development Officers attend the event, any representative from your club's Youth Development or Management Committee can represent the club. In addition, more than one representative is welcome to attend (maximum 3) and clubs are encouraged to send officers who will play key roles in the delivery of their youth activities this season. It is imperative that all clubs have at least one representative at this forum as important information for the coming season will be provided.

The forum will be presented by both Branch and State volunteer officers and staff so there will be plenty of experience on hand to provide advice and answer questions. The forum will also have a workshop and networking component.
