If you’re thinking of introducing your child to lifesaving, then Nippers is for you. Nippers is open to children from the age five up to 13 years (age for a season is calculated as of midnight September 30).

In the 2018 – 2019 season Surf Life Saving Queensland is celebrating 50 years of Nippers.In 1968 the Queensland Surf Nippers Association was formed. To celebrate the occasion Surf Life Saving Sunshine Coast has organised a branch wide nipper sign on day at all Sunshine Coast clubs on the 26th of August 2018.
